Anneke Brose was born in Oldenburg in northern Germany and received her first piano and organ lessons with Ralf Grössler in Wildeshausen. She has studied Early Music at the University of the Arts in Bremen (major organ with Harald Vogel, Hans Davidsson and Edoardo Bellotti). After graduation she continued her studies in the Master’s program “Organ and related keyboard instruments” at the Universities of Gothenburg and Piteå in Sweden. She has studied organ with Hans-Ola Ericsson, Johannes Landgren and Karin Nelson, and clavichord with Joel Speerstra. During her studies in Sweden, she received a scholarship from the foundation „Värmlands Sönner Gille“. She has participated in master classes with Lorenzo Ghielmi, Guy Bovet and Josep Maria Mas Bonet. Anneke works as an organist and performer with particular emphasis on early music. She frequently gives organ concerts, and has performed on several important historical organs. Among other things, she is a regular guest at the historical organs in East Frisia, including the famous Schnitger Organ in Norden. Concert tours have taken her to Austria, Norway and Latin America. In 2022, she played an organ concert at the “Festival Internacional de Música Antigua” in Peru. Anneke performs also as a continuo player and works as a church musician in Bremen.
